It is hard to believe it has been 3 years since Luke had his finger and toe surgery. I was looking through old pictures and thought I would share the photos for those of you who may not have seen them 3 years ago.

This was on the way to have surgery. You can see his fingers still stuck together in this picture.

This was taken right after surgery. See the IV in his HEAD! He had to have a skin graph as well, so that is why you can see tape above his diaper.

I think in this picture Luke is probably thinking he would kill us if he just get out of these cast!

I am sharing this picture for you to see how scared I was to hold him for the first time. I think you can see that in my face!

Sleeping at home the next day.

Grandmother was a big help. As was everyone.

He is watching Mimi cook in this picture.

Mimi stayed a few days with him so we could go to work. He did not go to daycare during this time, obviously.

Smiling with his cast!

This was before we went to church. It was baby day.

Here he is after they put him back to sleep to take the cast off. Much better!

Bless his heart! I had forgotten how pitiful that was. I know that your heart was hurting so much during that time! So glad that is over!
