Some of Mine and Luke's favorite foods these days

Here are a few things that you can always count on Luke to eat these days.

Grilled cheese. The boy LOVES these!

Pasta pick-ups. We keep these on hand and eats these probably 3 nights a week. With flax seed sprinkled on top of course! :)
I put the chips in the middle because Luke and I both could eat these ALL day! They must be the "orange ones" / cheddar and sour cream.

This is a new cereal I thought I would try and I love it! It taste similar to honey nut cheerios, but is loaded with fiber.

I have been hooked on these for several months now. If you haven't tried them you are missing out.

Skinny Cow ice cream sandwiches. 140 calories, 2 g fat, 3 g fiber. These are now kept on hand at our house. Luke likes to stick his finger in the middle and get the ice cream out. Nothing like eating an ice cream sandwich where little (clean) fingers are messing up the inside!

A little bit of this, A little bit of that

I was just looking through my camera and ran across some of these pictures that I thought were good/cute. Enjoy!
Mimi is teaching Luke how to become a NASA engineer! Look how deep in though they both are. HA!

Luke's favorite drink...Diet Coke! No he did not drink this one. Mom just thought it would be funny to put it in the picture.

This is my favorite picture of Grandaddy and Luke!
This was taken at my 10 year high school reunion.

Luke "helping" at basketball camp at church.
Luke and Callan worn out after their hard day at camp!

Me, Lori and Amy at the beach this weekend. We were cheering on AU!!

Random Post

This is going to be a random post. I don't really have anything to blog about, but I need to "update" my blog. Here are a few things that have been going on the past mth or so. Oh, the pictures have nothing to do with the blog. I just like pictures! Lauren took these a few weeks ago.

1. We took Luke to get a second opinion on his ring finger on the right hand that doesn't bend. This doctor (Dr. Clark in Huntsville) seems to think he can fix it no problem. He says you just take the tendon out of your arm (right below your palm) which is an extra tendon and do a tendon graph. It is a lot more complicating than that, but that is the idea. The only thing is he needs to wait until Luke is probably 3-4 yrs old. We will probably take him to get a third opinion before actually doing surgery anywhere.

2. Luke had to sit in timeout at daycare for the first time this week. It said on the board at daycare "Luke bit another child today. He had to sit in timeout." Here is the funny part. I looked at the board at several other kids who had something written and for 3 of the kids it said the same thing Luke's did, THEN by one girls name it said "So and So was bit by another kid today." I about died out laughing. Poor girl must have been bitten by all 3 kids. We asked the teacher about it and she said she thinks that Luke bit the girl b/c he saw the other two do it. She said it was out of character of Luke to do that. I am totally not one of these mothers that thinks my kid does no wrong, but generally speaking Luke does not bite people. Now if it had said, "We told Luke NO today and he slapped his hands at us and stomped his feet," I would say yep that sounds just like him.

3. This weekend I am going to the beach with two of my friends from college (Amy and Lori). Amy was my roommate for 3 years. As in, we shared an actual room! I think that Amy and I would both say this prepared us a little for marriage as far as being used to sharing a room with someone else. Lori, was like our 5th roommate. (There were two other girls that lived with Amy and I) Lori was an electrical engineer like myself and went to the christian student center. We are so pumped about this trip! It is the first "get together" since we graduated. I am pretty sure it is going to turn into an annual event! OH...most importantly...we get to watch the first AU game together!
