Veggie Tales Live

Mimi and Grandaddy got tickets for us to go see this tonight in Decatur! We are pumped! Luke has been talking about it all week. I just hope that he likes it once we get there. Sometimes things like this sort of scare him, so hopefully we will be far enough way that he enjoys watching. I will give an updated post after we get back.

Punkin Day

We took Luke to MH Punkin Day Saturday. When we first got there we went to the gym where all the inflatable jumping toys were. He wouldn't go jump in one of those. SO, we then took a quick stroll through the new gym and looked at all the different booths that were set up. This is the part where Jud and Luke were both bored. SO, it was time to then go eat lunch. When we go back outside we are standing there talking to someone next to the dunking booth. All of a sudden the person in the dunking booth gets dunked and Luke has a complete come apart! I have no idea what part about that he didn't like, whether it was the noise or the fact that someone just fell/disappeared, BUT he HATED it! He would not even let us sit there and eat lunch. Jud had to walk him around while I finished eating. Luke kept saying, "Go to hospital! Go to hospital!" He knew that we were going to visit Grumps afterwards and he was ready! Needless to say, Punkin Day was NOT a fun experience for the Young's this year. Maybe next year will be better.

Pumpkin Patch

We took Luke to McGee farms last Saturday and he loved it! He is at a good age right now for that kind of stuff. Here are some pictures from the trip below.


We took a hayride to go pick out our pumpkin. The boy's were so amazed at the tractor. We were all yelling at them to look at the camera and this is what we got!

This was Lane's favorite part by far! Luke is just laying down b/c we told him to. :)

Here is what happened when they first got into the corn. Lane dives right in never looking back, Luke has to stop b/c he got some in his shoes! He is for sure my son!
