5 Year Anniversary

Tomorrow (August 6th) is mine and Jud's 5 year anniversary! The traditional gift for the 5 year anniversary is wood. I had just looked this up Monday at work. Monday night I played Bunco and was trying to ask people what I could get Jud for a gift. Then when I get home Monday after bunco, Jud goes "you know what I would really like....a guitar." He has never played, but wanted to learn. My first thought was...there is my "wood" gift! HA!

SO, yesterday Jud went looking around at some different stores getting a price and checking out guitars. (I didn't know he was going to do this.) I stopped by the Sound Shop in Florence and was looking at the ones they had and my phone rang. It was Jud! He starts telling me about going around looking at the different guitars and he goes "I found one I really like at the Sound Shop..." It was all I could do to not tell him I was in the store when he called. After he went through telling me which one he liked, it was the same one that I was about to buy! Now...how crazy is that! He had no idea that I was getting him one. SO, after I got home with it and was trying to figure out a place to hide it until Friday...I just couldn't risk him finding it...so when Jud got home I was like "you want to just go on and swap gifts tonight"...he agreed!! Therefore, I went on and gave him the guitar last night! I am the worst at keeping a secret like that!

There ya have it folks. That is the guitar story.
HAPPY 5 YEAR ANNIVERSARY TO US!!

He got me the Willow Tree figurine (Tenderness). It is the mother and toddler child. I collect them. Sorry I left that part out. He also just brought a dozen rosses to my office!
