Sprinkler and Eye Doctor

We got the sprinkler out Saturday and let Luke play. At first he didn't care for it too much, but once Jud joined in and showed him what to do he LOVED it. He cried when we turned it off.

Yesterday I took Luke to the eye doctor. They do a screening at daycare and then they let you know if your child should go see a real doctor. Luke's came back that he needed to see a real doctor. Since I have such bad eyes (-8.5 for you people out there that have bad eyes as well), it didn't surprise me that his might be that way as well. Jud has perfect vision and has never even been to an eye doctor. That is one of those, Luke has a 50/50 shot at having that you all hear me talk about a lot. HA! Luckily, there is nothing wrong and we do NOT have to have glasses or anything at this time. They had to dilate his eyes to look at them and they are staying dilated for 24 hrs. Bless his heart, every time we went outside last night he was just a squinting. His depth perception was off a little as well. I was trying to not to laugh at him, but it was sort of funny just because I know what it feels like. OK, so maybe I did laugh!
One last picture. I took this while we were driving to Montgomery for Charlie and Laura's wedding. Is that not the cutest thing! We had just eaten lunch and were about 20-30 min down the road when I looked back and saw this. GV is covered up with one of Luke's blankets. He kept looking at her like "what are you doing with MY blanket!"
